LOCATION

All Tryouts will be held at the FC United facility. Players must attend at least 2 of the 3 tryout dates. Tryout fee: $35

ECNL Regional League Rosters (U13-19)

* These sessions will include tryouts for ECNL REGIONAL LEAGUE rosters.

* Players will receive a confirmation that they are being placed on the ECNL Regional League at the time of your bid.

* ECNL-RL Bids must be accepted by the deadline stated on your email confirmation. All ECNL-RL players must agree to the guidelines and expectations to be considered for ECNL Regional League games and Showcases.

pre-ECNL Rosters (u11-12)

* These sessions will include tryouts for pre-ECNL rosters.

* Players will receive a confirmation that they are being placed in the pre-ECNL pool.

Goalkeepers

Goalkeeper specific breakout groups will be on the evenings highlighted below. Goalkeepers will break out from their normal tryout group and then return to their tryout group. If it is before or after your regular tryout, please attend both.

Some players may not be ready yet for different developmental stages. Movement between groups will only occur after a player evaluation.

At the discretion of our staff, 8U players may be placed within the program to prepare them for the anticipated learning environment and needs of that age group.

Financial Assistance Program

Financial Assistance Program ~

Families may apply for financial assistance where considerations are made for full or partial awards, based on meeting the financial assistance requirements of the club.

This assistance program is restricted to club membership dues & training & facility fees only. Families will still be responsible for their share of the player's competition fees.

You can refer to the Financial Assistance tab on our website for more information regarding the program, application process, and deadlines.

2026-2027 Season Application Deadline - July 1, 2026

The Financial Assistance form requires a $200 commitment fee to secure a roster spot. This fee may be refunded to any qualified player at the conclusion of the season, should all team and competition expenses be current.

All Financial Assistance recipients, player with parent, are required to attend a pre-season meeting to discuss the terms of these awards.

All Financial Assistance recipients will be required to participate in at least one of the following:
1. Club designated fundraiser (in addition to the Midwest Classic)
2. Club designated volunteer responsibility

All Financial Assistance recipients are prohibited from the following:
1. Participate in any Non-FC United soccer activity without the written consent and pre-approval from FC United Soccer Club.
2. Self-Removal from assigned rosters and games without approval from the club.

Lack of adherence to the above terms will lead to an automatic forfeiture of the Financial Award. Any amounts previously credited through the scholarship fund will be retroactively charged and due in full.

Roster spots must be accepted by 8AM the following morning so that we are able to secure your roster spot. This will allow players who may be on standby to accept any roster spots that remain open or available.

Payment plans are subject to a transaction fee per payment. This payment fee may be canceled at any time, should the full balance be paid at any point during the payment plan period.

The commitment fee and club annual dues are non-refundable and due in full should the player drop out of the program for that season.

Uniforms are not included in the club membership dues.

EVENT & COMPETITION FEES (refer to competition fee tab)

Event Competition Fees

This fee is deposited into your assigned team account and will cover competition fees, including league & tournament entry, as well any potential miscellaneous team expenses such as team bench and team communication software. The team fees vary depending on team/age group.

All event and competition fees will be assessed on a team by team basis depending on events included on their calendar. All active players on the team will contribute equally to the competition fees and any fees associated with team events.

League Games - All players on the team roster will contribute equally for all league registration and game expenses.

Tournaments & Events - All players on the team will be equally responsible for their share of the tournament expense, Should the club exclude a player from a tournament, that player bears no expense for that event.

Practice Only (non-active or standby) - Players may be added to a full roster on a "standby" basis. These players are responsible for their full training fees and club membership, however they are not billed for team competition expenses. Should a standby player be included to an event roster, that player will be billed for their share of the event fee. Should a player be elevated to a full active status, they will be billed for their league fees on a pro-rata and their tournament fees as rostered.

Fall competition fees are due in late July.
Winter competition fees are due in November
Spring/Summer competition fees are due in late February
