No overnight stay required for both events.  All games for each gender/division would be played on the same day!!
Age groups may be combined if development appropriate in the process of creating some divisions.

Format - 3v3

Number of Players / Roster Size

3 players on the field at a time with a maximum roster size of 6 players.

Goal Size: Micro-Soccer Goals

Length of Game
Matches will be played a total of 25 minutes, running clock with NO half time.

Player Equipment

All players must wear their appropriate jersey during game time, shin guards and cleats (no metal studs). The home team must provide an alternate color.

Offsides
There will be no offside rules

Goal Scoring:
A goal cannot be scored from before the half way line and cannot be scored off indirect kicks and goal kicks. All kicks are indirect except for corners.

Goal Box Rules: Exclusion Area/Goal Box
Players are not allowed to make contact with the ball within the exclusion area. Defensive team touching the ball will result in a goal in favor of the opposing team. Offensive team touching the ball within the area will result in a goal-kick for the defensive team. A ball rolling and coming to a complete stop within the area will result in a goal kick for the team defending that goal.


NO SLIDE TACKLING

Players will be expected to make tackles from their feet. Sliding is okay without contact of a player. EXAMPLE saving a ball from going out of bounds is okay, making contact with a player is not.

Subbing Rules
Subs are made on the fly at the midfield line. Substitutions are unlimited throughout the match. When making a substitution, the player leaving the pitch MAY NOT be involved in the play (receiving a pass, defending a player) while the other player is entering the field. Players leaving the field are expected to do so in a quick manner as to not interrupt the game or gain an advantage.


Restarts

Goal kicks: Will be taken within the goal box as an indirect kick
Corner Kicks: Direct kick
Ball Hits the Roof: The ball will be spotted directly underneath the point of contact and presented as an indirect kick for the opposing team. 
Kick-ins: Will be used when the ball is out of bounds from the touchline. All kick-ins are indirect EXCEPT corners. 
Defenders: Defenders must stay at least 5 yards away on all restarts. 
Kick Off: indirect

 

Drop Off Rule – Drop off rule will be in effect for U9-U10. Defensive team will drop off to midfield. This rule is ot applicable for U11 and older.

Advancement Rules (when applicable): 
No overtime or shootouts in pool play.


Point System:
3 Points for a win 
1 Point for a tie 
0 Points for a loss


TIE-BREAKER (if applicable) 
- Head-to-Head (not used if three or more teams are tied) 
- Goals differential (maximum 8 per game) i.e. - 12-0 win will be scored as +8 for goal difference. 
- Fewest Goals Allowed
- Most Goals Scored
- Most Shutouts
- PKs if needed. 3 Alternating kicks to be taken by players on the field at the time the match ended. the roster from midfield. Sudden victory. Each team will send a player and teams will alternate kicks until one team misses.

Ejection Rules: 
Players who receive a red card will be ejected for the remainder of the game and suspended for the following game. Spectators may be dismissed from the tournament/complex for abusive or inappropriate behavior.

No Tolerance Policy 
The tournament directors will not accept any abuse of tournament referees or officials. The directors reserve the right to eject and ban from the tournament any individual or team who has abused an official, be it club volunteer or certified referee. Any coach or team official shall be held responsible for the action of any individual who in the opinion of the referee or tournament official, is a supporter of that team.

Format - 5v5 (4 plus a goalkeeper)

Number of Players
5 players (including the Goalkeeper) on the field at a time with a maximum roster size of 8 players.

Goal Size: 7x21

Length of Game
Matches will be played a total of 30 minutes, running clock with NO half time.

Guaranteed 2 Game Minimum

Goal Scoring:
A goal can only be scored from beyond the restricted area. Goals cannot be scored behind your own defensive zone. No goals will be allowed from indirect kicks and goal kicks. All kicks are indirect except for corners. 

Goal Box Rules: N/A

Winter Magic Tournaments


Surface / Turf
All games are played on high-grade SYNTHETIC GRASS with a regular outdoor ball and regular CLEATS! All cleats must be clean and free of debris. NO WALLS. Games and feel of play will be more realistic to the outdoor game. 

Formats
3v3

7v7
 with keepers. Maximum roster size of 11

ALL games will be played on ONE day. No overnight required. Divisions will be assigned to either Saturday or Sunday. 

U9-10 - Festival Format. No Championship game.
U11-U15 - Standings based on points. Potential extra game if multiple Groups

Age groups may be combined into a division if development-appropriate, based on team entries.
 

Cost of Tournament
:
$150 - (3v3)
$250 - (5v5)   
$350 - (7v7)


The full fee must be paid at registration to lock in your spot. Teams playing 'up' into a division may be allowed to participate only with approval from the event director. (Ie - U10 team playing in the U11 event)

Roster & Participation Acceptance 

Online participation waiver must be signed by all players prior to the first game. All participants agree to the terms and conditions of the participation requirements, facility rules, and competition rules. 

3v3 Tournament Rules

Length of Game
3v3 Matches will be played a total of 25 minutes, running clock with NO halftime.
5v5 Matches will be played a total of 30 minutes, running clock with NO halftime.

Number of Players

3v3 Max roster of 6
5v5 Max roster of 8

Offsides

There will be no offside rules


Build-out Line
U9-U10  will use a build-out line where the defensive team must retreat when defending all goal kicks. All other ages will be restricted to 5 yards on all free kick and restarts.

Goal Scoring
A goal may be scored from anywhere on the field except for indirect kicks. All kicks are indirect except for corners.


3v3 Format will include a Goal Box Rule / Exclusion Area:

In the 3v3 format, a player will not be allowed to touch the ball inside the goal box, but will have the ability to move through the box without the ball. If a defensive player touches the ball inside the box, a goal will be awarded to the attacking team. If an attacker touches the ball inside the box, the play will restart as a goal kick for the defensive team.

Making contact with another player as a result of the slide tackle is prohibited and will result in an indirect kick for the opposing team. 


Subbing Rules

Subs are made on the fly. Substitutions are unlimited throughout the match. When making a substitution, the player leaving the game MAY NOT be involved in the play (receiving a pass, defending a player) while the other player is entering the field. Players leaving the field are expected to do so in a quick manner as to not interrupt the game or gain an advantage. Application of the substitution rules will be managed by the team coaches.

Ejection Rules
Players, spectators, and coaches may be ejected from event and facility for not adhering to the spirit of the event, event rules, and facility rules. The decision will be made solely at the discretion of the event coordinator.
