PROGRAM OUTLINE

This program offers a transitional bridge between the Little Strikers into the U9-10 Academy.

We will introduce game settings with other area clubs with similar programs at our U8 Pre Academy level. These games are 4v4 with small nets and we work on a wider array of more complex situations and problem solving

TRAINING
The pre-academy trains weekly Fall, Winter, and Spring in a clinic setting for 1 hour. During fall and spring, Pre Academy players will also have the opportunity to play in game nights in which Pre Academy players will scrimmage within the team at FC United.


GAMES
Friendlies - 3 playdates per Fall & Spring. These are played against other local clubs with Pre Academy programs. Potential locals can include Cedar Rapids and Cedar Falls.

Tournaments - 2-3 possible tournaments when a U8 division is offered and player commitment allows. Players will pay for the events they are rostered for.

Bring-A-Friend - These are played on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons. During these opportunities we encourage all players to participate and bring a family member, neighbor or school peer in the Little Strikers or Pre Academy age to try soccer with FC United.


COST
$350 (All 3 seasons : fall, winter, spring)~ That's less than $10 per contact!
  - All clinic sessions, friendly play dates and Invite-A-Friend opportunities are included in this cost.
- Tournament fees and expenses are additional cost
- Uniforms are additional cost
